BEER FESTIVAL

22 - 24 May Bank Holiday 2026

The hugely popular Waterbeach Colts FC Beer Festival returns for the 22nd year in 2026. Hoping to be the best yet with family fun, live music, DJ's, street food vans, and of course some delightful brews selected by our friends at Milton Brewery, all while raising much needed funds for the football club.

However you experience this years beer festival whether it be as a volunteer, visitor, parent, player, or all of the above, we wish you a fun filled family weekend. We can't wait to celebrate another successful season with the Waterbeach community and our guests wherever you travel from. In the true spirit of WCFC, all are welcome.

Sams Superheroes - Coaches Charity Football Tournament

It wouldn't be the annual Beer Festival without kicking off the Coaches Charity Football Tournament on the first Friday evening. This year the coaches are extremely proud to be playing in aid of the incredible Sams Superheroes and again hope to raise several hundred pounds.

Sam's Superheroes Foundation is the UK's only charity dedicated to improving outcomes for people affected by the catastrophic and rare epilepsies NORSE and FIRES. ​Sudden. Explosive. Life-changing.

They fund vital research, raise urgent awareness and support families facing the unimaginable.

​

All money raised from this tournament is donated to Sam's Superheroes. We ask you kindly to donate what ever you can to this very worthy cause.

Saturday 5v5 Children's Football Tournament

​On Saturday 23 May the kids show the coaches how it's really done with our annual 5v5 Childrens Football Tournament played alongside the beer festival. It's a real highlight of the weekend and we pride ourselves on making our tournament inclusive yet competitive as much as possible. Last year we watched as over 100 teams entered the competition seeing football played at all age groups.

The feedback was very positive so we hope for as much success this year. Places are filling up fast but you may still be able to enter, visit the 5v5 Football Tournament page for further details.

Run by volunteers from the community

The beer festival could not go ahead if it wasn't for an army of volunteers, starting with our dedicated beer festival sub committee who start planning the festival many month in advance to the festival volunteers who help in many different ways. If you can give up an hour or two over a few days, setting up, packing down, behind a bar or just being generally helpful, the club needs you! Just get in touch with us to volunteer now, a spreadsheet with time slots will soon be available for volunteers to donate their time to help during the beer festival weekend.
